The M80 is a magnetic pickup that captures the acoustic resonance of the body to an extent that you wouldn't expect, and it also has the ability to beautifully reproduce the sound of body tapping.

3D Body Sensor
The M80 features the same stacking humbucking structure as the M1. The upper coil has pole pieces for adjusting the volume of each string. The lower coil has a 3D structure that allows it to move freely up, down, left, and right. The unit has an Active/Passive switch on the back. When using an external preamp such as the Para Acoustic DI or Venue DI, you can select the Passive mode output according to your preference.
