For sale is this beautiful 2008 Paul Reed Smith SC 245, serial number 8 133255, made in the USA.

The SC 245 is PRS’s take on the classic short-scale, single-cutaway design, combining a substantial mahogany construction with a beautifully carved flame maple top and PRS’s renowned build quality.

It features a mahogany body, carved flame maple top and a Wide Fat mahogany neck with a comfortable 24.5” scale length. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 frets and elegant abalone Dot Bird inlays.

The guitar is equipped with a pair of covered PRS 245 Treble & Bass humbuckers, controlled by two individual volume controls, two tone controls and a three-way pickup selector. This traditional control layout, combined with the short scale and mahogany/maple construction, gives the SC 245 its characteristic full and powerful sound.

Hardware is chrome throughout, with a PRS Stop Tail bridge and vintage-style tuners.

The flame maple top is particularly attractive, with strong figuring visible across the entire body and a beautiful vintage-style sunburst finish. The mahogany back and neck are finished in a deep transparent red.

The guitar comes with its PRS hardshell case as pictured.
