Guild Bluesbird 1997
A important component in the Guild Bluesbird designs have from the start been true chambered mahogany bodies(i e not just routed out to save weight, as with other companies), resulting in a very resonant and dynamic acoustic and electric response. The exterior, albeit highly original in design, is more traditional with a carved flame maple top and a mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, block inlays, and a 24.75-inch scale length. The pickups are the original sweet Seymour Duncan 59’s. On a funny side note, this one left the factory with a set of CTS-pots from 1977🤔. You have some fretwear but nothing that shows up while playing. A small chip on the back of the headstock. The pic guard is missing and you can see that the finish is a bit darker where it used to sit. This is a real quality build and it plays accordingly. Weight: 3.63kg
