As with the original from the 1950s, no separate fretboard was used - the 21 frets were matched directly on the neck, while the original 7.25" fretboard radius near the nut provides an authentic vintage feel. For modern demands, the fingerboard radius changes to 9.5" in the high registers, allowing leads and demanding riffs to be played cleanly thanks to the flattened radius. Rounded off by a classic vintage tremolo and vintage-style tuners, artistic vibratos can be used perfectly while the tuning remains reliably stable.Hand-Wound Custom Shop '54 Single CoilsFor the authentic Stratocaster sound, three classic Hand-Wound Custom Shop '54 single coils were naturally installed, which are characterized by their vocal sound character and prove to be a real feast for the ears with a strong mid-treble presence.
