description

fuzz one is a dual silicon/germanium analogue fuzz tuned to be raw but articulate, open and responsive. it holds together when you play light and breaks open when you push it.

two clipping modes define its core character: germanium for warmth and natural compression, silicon for clarity and attack.
weight sculpts the low end from tight to heavy, and bright/dark adjusts the top end to your rig and room.

each unit is signed and numbered inside the enclosure.

controls
volume — output level
weight — bass content & saturation
input — input gain & sensitivity
si / ge — silicon or germanium clipping
bright / dark — top-end contour

sound
very touch-sensitive.
with input and weight low, it delivers gritty overdrive and dry boost tones; wide open, it becomes a saturated, textured fuzz.
voiced to stay clear: never shrill, never muddy, with unusually low noise for a fuzz.
cuts through a mix even with heavy delay/reverb chains.
works best first in chain. use a quality isolated 9v supply.
