B85 audio - Germanium overdrive Deluxe

B85 Audio Germanium Overdrive Deluxe is a floor effect pedal based on the legendary Tube Screamer 808 circuit, expanded with a two-band equalizer and germanium diodes for a more natural, dynamic, and musical overdrive character.

Thanks to its design, it retains the classic overdrive feel while offering greater flexibility in shaping the final sound.

Controls

• Level – overall output volume
• Drive – amount of distortion
• Bass – low-frequency adjustment (+/- 15 dB at 85 Hz)
• Treble – high-frequency adjustment (+/- 15 dB at 8800 Hz)

The pedal is built using high-quality components, including Alpha-Pots or Hongh potentiometers, Neutrik jack connectors, and a GØRVA Design footswitch rated for up to 30,000 actuations.

It can be powered by a 9V battery or an external 9–12 V DC power supply. For bass guitar use, we recommend 12 V operation for greater headroom and a tighter response.

Each unit is fully handcrafted, including PCB assembly and soldering.

The effect is suitable for both electric guitar and bass guitar.

Deluxe version

The Deluxe version of the B85 Audio Germanium Overdrive features an improved aesthetic design as well as a higher-grade operational amplifier (op-amp), resulting in better dynamics, clarity, and an overall more open sound.
