Epiphone by Gibson Les Paul Custom (Black), made in Korea.
The "By Gibson" era refers to Epiphone guitars produced under Gibson license to very strict specifications. The best series were exported to Japan (thanks to the excellent trade relations between South Korea and Japan at the time). They offer outstanding value for money and are—rightly so—increasingly sought after. They are in a different league compared to some series made in China or Indonesia.

Good overall condition; shows signs of use, paint touch-ups, etc. Frets are in good condition (7/10). Note: there is a localized crack in the finish at the base of the neck (visible in the photos); the price has been reduced accordingly: €349 instead of €549.
Inspection suggests the crack affects only the finish; there are no signs of wood breakage, repairs, or instability. The neck is perfectly stable, the setup is standard, and the guitar plays flawlessly.
Very enjoyable to play. Excellent tone with original pickups: thick, warm, vintage sound typical of Korean Epiphones from the early 90s.
Great sustain and resonance; dense mahogany body. An excellent Les Paul.
