Really nice Yamaha SJ-180 here that’s a great player.
This one has a solid top and that classic Yamaha build quality—super comfortable, easy to play, and sounds exactly like you’d want: warm, balanced, and responsive.
Condition-wise, it’s in good used shape with some honest wear. The biggest thing to note is that at one point someone had electronics installed and later removed them—you can see the extra hole on the side where the output jack was. Doesn’t affect playability at all.
The nut has had some work done and is a little rough cosmetically, but it functions just fine. Looks like the nut and endpin may have been secured with a bit of spray foam—definitely not factory, but everything is stable and doing its job.
Frets are in good shape, neck feels great, and it plays clean up and down.
Includes a chipboard case.
If you’re looking for a solid, great-playing Yamaha with some character (and priced accordingly), this is a good one.
There is one spot on the bottom of the face of the acoustic that has some faded finish as seen in pictures.
