Some of the best leather straps came from the 1970's. Since then, leather has been chemically tanned and produced in china and is thin and WEAK by comparison. This 1970's leather strap is thick natural leather....the difference between the quality then and now is shocking. Great USA quality. The strap is in excellent shape with normal player wear - but rock solid condition and totally useable!!! When you see it you will understand the difference!
