Authentic Leslie speaker cabinet model - Pro Line 860 - made in the USA in the early 80s with its preamp for sale (220volts version made for Europe). I bought this speaker in 1997 from a musician that had it exclusively in his house with a very few hours of playing. I used it professionally for 3 years and did about 100 gigs in total. Since 2000 until now it has been sitting in a storage room. It's in near perfect working condition! You can see and hear it played by me on two videos that I posted on my YouTube channel in June of 2026. The one is with the Hammond B100 and the other with the KORG CX3 (both made in 1980 which I also sell, see other listing's posted soon). It also has a preamp with 2 channels with jack inputs. Yes you can also plug a guitar or any other instrument via a guitar cable. The preamp connects to the speaker with the classic 11 pin connector. It also has a high frequency rolloff knob on each channel and a stereo or mix mono setting switch on the back near the inputs. You can also connect and control the slow fast option directly to a Hammond organ via the 11 pin connector and bypass the preamp; however you won't be able to control the treble if needed. Due to its old age (45 years old) I did a small service and maintenance on a well experienced technician that specializes in these instruments in Athens Greece. Here's the details: On the preamp a few capacitors were changed due to old age and on the main board circuit (where the transformer is) the power line was re-soldered. Other than that nothing else has been changed. It works like new! (Oh and it's oiled). It has all of its original parts, speakers etc. I never put the volume on the preamp above the middle (half way through) in order to avoid burning the speakers. This model is the least complicated to fix and maintain from most models of the Leslie speakers. It doesn't have tubes. To solve this “problem” I would use on stage a 70s Fender Twin Reverb with two 12 inch JBL speakers to blend the sound. It worked like pure magic!!! It's the most portable and lightweight of its kind at 43kg… Please note that it has a 12 inch woofer so if you want to use it for playing the bass pedals in the jazz style of let's say Jimmy Smith, I wouldn't recommend using it by itself unless you add another 15 inch speaker. When I was living in NYC I had the opportunity to play and record on a real Hammond B3 with a Leslie 122 that was made in the sixties. For me if you want to play old school jazz on stage there's none other to compare, just to share my opinion to be clear. Then you choose according to your budget, location for finding a specialized technician for maintenance or repair and of course if you're famous enough to have roadies for carrying your gear. I recommend this speaker to be used with a band that has a bass player in the styles of Blues, Rock, Jazz etc. I've focused on playing only the piano for the last 15 years so I don't need them anymore. I'm upgrading my gear with other items. Due to its excellent rare condition I'm asking for 2,500 euros preferably paid in cash in person. My location is in Athens Greece and unfortunately I do not ship it in any other locations.
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Saridakis
