Refinished Jackson JS32-7 Dinky 7 String Guitar 3A Quilt Maple Coral Top

Hello and thank you for looking at this beautiful guitar that I refinished myself close to 2 years ago. It is the 3rd guitar I've ever completely refinished. It was previously a Tobacco Sunburst Jackson JS32-7 guitar that I completely sanded down and added a 3A quilt maple top. I like to call the color Coral, but it is actually a very watered down Transtint Honey Amber.

There are some finishing mistakes on this guitar, unfortunately. The headstock veneer lifted up a little bit because there was not enough Titebond wood pressing veneer glue at the edge. So I added some wood glue and sanded it down. Also, there was a big gash on the edge of the body, so I filled it with wood filler and sealed over it. It developed a kind of an outline around it. I tried to take a stab at dressing the frets and I used a grit that was too low (1000???) to polish them, so there are some sanding swipes on the fretboard, and the nut was removed and glued back on.

This refinish job is not professional, it was a learning experience for me. There is some fret buzz because its not a perfect job, and I play with the action really low. I'm sure if the nut was leveled properly it would be a lot better. I just don't have time for it now.

Regardless of these cosmetic imperfections the guitar plays great. It features Active solderless electronics, Seymour Duncan Blackouts, Hipshot bridge and locking tuners, and all gold hardware. I used this guitar for a year so there are also small dings, light surface scratches, etc. Included is the Jackson hardshell case.

I became tired of the big guitar companies not offering affordable and more exotic 7 string models, so I took the power back lol and made my own. Thank you for looking, I've added a video of me coloring the guitar.
