Up for sale due to downsizing of my collection: A very rare, one-of-a-kind 5-string bass guitar in the style of a Fender Jazz Bass, built by Munich-based master luthier Thomas Keller. Comes with 2 Bartolini pickups. The body is made of ash, the neck of a very beautiful birdseye maple. The fingerboard is made of light Pau Ferro (see photos). The neck has a matte finish, and the body has a natural gloss finish. This model dates from the 1990s and is in excellent condition ("mint condition"). No scratches, cracks, or dents, and only minimal signs of wear that are not visible in the photos. The electronics are unique, as the active and passive amplification can be continuously mixed via a control. This allows you to continue playing passively even if the battery is empty.

A fantastic 5-string bass guitar with the approximate dimensions of a Fender Jazz Bass. I am the second owner. Keller is no longer building guitars due to his age. His guitars and basses built at highest standarts with exquisite materials are now extremely rare on the market, as understandably few people want to pass them on. I once wanted a 5-string, but now only play 4-string basses. Therefore, this outstanding instrument has rarely been played and can now be passed on to someone who appreciates its quality. It's very comfortable to play with its black nylon-wound pyramid strings, currently in a flat action. I really like the sound. The guitar will be delivered in a soft case. It comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Inspection and testing on a Glockenklang amplifier are possible in Munich. Shipping will be insured and well-packaged in a double box.
