The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar—the iconic instrument that started it all in 1985. The Custom 24-08 retains many of the core features of the original Custom—a maple top, mahogany back and neck, 24 frets, a 25” scale length, the patented PRS Gen III tremolo, and Phase III locking tuners with wing-style buttons—while adding a new level of versatility thanks to TCI pickups and mini-toggle EQ switches.
TCI pickups are designed to deliver a full, musical sound reminiscent of single-coil and soapbar-style pickups. When engaged (in the up position), the two mini-toggle EQ switches act as high-pass filters, removing low frequencies and allowing high frequencies to pass through, resulting in greater clarity and a more musical tone.
