Hello there people from the internets! Up for sale is a 2012 Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster finished in Blonde. Designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Chris Fleming, the Classic Player Baja Telecaster features a solid Ash body with an attractive blonde gloss finish, delivering both classic looks and a vibrant, colourful sound. The Maple neck features a soft "V" profile and Maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, giving it a fast and comfortable feel that's sure to satisfy any player. The guitar features a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge position and a Quarter Pounder Telecaster in the neck position. The pickup switch features a special fourth position in addition to the standard three-way switching found on most Telecasters. Position 1 selects the bridge pickup, position 2 combines both pickups in parallel, and position 3 engages the neck pickup only. The added fourth position combines both pickups in series, delivering a thicker tone similar to that of a humbucker, but with all of the bright top-end character of a single coil pickup. The Classic Player Baja Telecaster also features Fender's innovative S-1™ switch for added tonal versatility. Built into the Volume control, this discreet push switch affects the pickup selector's positions two and four, with positions one and three remaining unaffected. When the pickups are combined either in series or parallel, the S-1™ switch introduces out-of-phase circuitry, producing a thinner and more hollow tone, similar to that found in funk music and early electric blues. As you can see in the photos and video, the guitar is amazing condition with no picking scratches or the odd ding here and there (please check video and photos for a better perspective of the guitar's condition and please ask for more pictures and videos). The pickguard has lifted a bit near the "upper horn" and the neck is dead straight and the truss rod works as it should (turn both ways without any hassle). The pickups have been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge position and a Quarter Pounder Telecaster in the neck position but the rest of the electronics are original and everything works properly (no issue whatsoever with the electronics). The frets show no wear, have been polished and she has just been setup to my liking with 10-46 D'Addarios (action around 1,75mm on the heavy E and 1,5mm on the high E). It will be professionally packed and shipped by carrier (UPS or DPD) in the generic black hardshell case pictured in the photos. Please watch the close-up video for more details.
