Classic early-90s Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay, made in San Luis Obispo, California during the early EBMM years, when these basses still retained a very raw, mechanical and immediate StingRay character.This particular instrument was manufactured on September 19th, 1991 according to the Ernie Ball Music Man serial database. Factory markings on the neck and body date to August 12th and 13th, 1991.The bass is acoustically very resonant and lively — a proper old-school StingRay with fast attack, deep lows, strong low-mid character and extremely direct response under the fingers.
