The 2014 Gibson LPJ in Fireburst was introduced as a streamlined USA-built Les Paul, offering traditional Gibson construction with simplified appointments and a satin finish. Built with a traditional weight-relieved mahogany body, carved maple top, and glued-in maple neck, it keeps the core Les Paul formula intact while focusing on value and playability. The satin finish wears more readily than a gloss finish, giving these guitars a naturally broken-in appearance over time.

This example is equipped with a pair of Gibson '61 Zebra humbuckers and retains the standard Les Paul control layout. The guitar weighs 8 lbs. 15.9 oz. and has been professionally inspected and set up. Everything is functioning as it should and it presents as a well-maintained player's instrument.

Cosmetic Condition:
Shows moderate wear consistent with age and use. The satin finish has naturally polished in areas(like the back of the neck) from playing, and also has earned some light scratches, dings, and surface wear throughout. There are some larger scratches by the headstock, see the attached photos. Overall, it has aged well for a 12-year old satin finished Gibson.

Neck:
Maple neck with a rounded '50s profile and 24.75" scale length, with a 12" radius. Rosewood fingerboard with the 120th Anniversary 12th fret inlay and 22 "cryogenically" treated frets showing some light playwear, but no obvious dents or flat spots. Synthetic nut measures 1.695". Vintage-style tuners with pearloid buttons. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.

Body:
Traditional weight-relieved mahogany body with carved maple top in Fireburst satin finish. Satin chrome Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. Larger factory strap buttons. The guitar weighs 8 lbs. 15.9 oz.

Electronics:
Gibson '61 Zebra humbuckers with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way toggle switch. Electronics are functioning properly.
