The body is made of select basswood—highly prized in Japan for offering a perfect balance of clear highs, powerful mids, and warm lows.

The Fender Precision Japan pickups deliver a warm, round, and powerful tone, featuring lovely vintage mids and the signature "growl" that made the Precision Bass famous :).

Like many '62 reissues, it offers a magical playing feel, thanks in part to its vintage amber finish. It feels great in the hands right away.
