A vintage Charvel which we've come across online before and excited to hold it in person, this is a 1983 Charvel San Dimas unique for a few specs! First off - a birdseye maple body sprayed in a light 'orange' burst to show off the figuring. The choice of electronics make it unique for its era too: in lieu of any humbuckers we have three single-coil pickups with a master volume control and three on/off toggles for each pickup. Lastly, it's an early pointy headstock as Charvel transitioned away from Fender-style headstocks at the time. Despite its age, the guitar is still in great shape with lots of life in the frets, the most notable wear is a small dime-sized spot on the upper horn. The neck on this one is worn in to perfection, and it rings out like a bell acoustically. The low-E saddle was replaced, and the original piece is included in the hardshell case.
