Vintage 1939 Gibson L-50 Flatback Electric Guitar
Charlie Christian pickup installed in this guitar.
PLEASE NOTE: At one time the guitar was converted to play left-handed. The control knobs are installed for a left-handed player. In addition, you can see the original pickguad mounting screw holes on the right side. The original pickguad mounting screw holes have been professionally filled in.
This guitar is in very good condition considering its age. The guitar is in very good cosmetic condition, considering its age. There is some finish checking, but very little considering most guitars of this vintage. The frets are in excellent condition. The action is great and the bridge has tons of adjustment height left! The back of the body is in incredible condition. There are finish defects located on the top front and back edge of the headstock. There are no stress cracks that are normally located at the base of the neck where it joins the body.
This guitar is professionally set-up and is ready to rock!
Includes hardshell case. The case has significant wear & tear throughout.
