This particular example has been inspected and set up to play comfortably, offering a smooth, familiar feel that players expect from a Jazz Bass. One unique aspect of this era is the pickguard-mounted control layout. This isn't a mod, it's production spec and some during this model year have the metal control plate, some don't. This one doesn't which makes it a little unique. It's been properly inspected and set up by our techs, neck is straight, truss rod works.

Cosmetic Condition:
Clean with moderate signs of use consistent with age. Shows typical surface wear such as light scratches and handling marks, but overall presents well. Some patina on the chrome hardware, particularly on the strap buttons.

Neck:
Maple neck with a comfortable Jazz Bass profile, 34" scale length, and approximately 1.5" nut width. Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets showing some patina but no flat spots or significant wear. Chrome tuners function as expected and hold tuning well. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.

Body:
Solidbody offset Jazz Bass design finished in black polyurethane. Features a one-piece pickguard with mounted controls and a standard 4-saddle bridge. It weighs in at 8lb 11oz.

Electronics:
Dual single-coil Jazz Bass pickups with passive electronics and volume/volume/tone controls mounted directly to the pickguard. Electronics are functioning properly and deliver classic Jazz Bass tones with clarity and punch.
