With the SG Custom Lefthand Ebony, Epiphone reissues the iconic double-cut classic as part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection. The SG model has been used and loved by legends such as Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Eric Clapton, and Angus Young for good reason, which is why Epiphone focuses on authentic playability and a powerful sound. The matching body and neck are made of mahogany, while the 22-fret ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius and the authentic 1960 Slim Taper C neck profile offer excellent comfort. The double-cut design provides easy access to every fret, even when demanding leads or precise riffs are required. The rich tone is generated by 2 ProBucker Custom humbuckers, characterized by strong output with clear highs, present mids, and well-defined bass. Reliable hardware components, including a classic LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with LockTone Stop Bar and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, ensure long-lasting performance.
