As a representative of the popular Soundgear family, the Ibanez Standard SR400EQM also impresses with an incomparably high level of playing comfort. Accordingly, the Nyatoh body with its curved line is perfectly balanced both on the strap and on the thigh, while the five-piece maple-walnut neck sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the flat "SR5" profile, so that every note plays itself on the Jatoba fingerboard. Another visual highlight is provided by the cloud maple top, whose intense grain is brought to life by the transparent Finish.

The Ibanez Standard SR400EQM-SCB Stained Cosmic Blue Starburst features two Ibanez Power Span Dual Coil pickups in the middle and bridge positions, which provide the basis for a versatile sound spectrum. In addition to the powerful humbucker mode, two further coil combinations can be called up via the "Power Tap" switch. The "Tap" mode delivers transparent single coil sounds, while the "Power Tap" mode stands for fat, yet finely articulated sounds. Last but not least, the active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control is available for precise tuning of the sound character.

In addition, the Ibanez Standard SR400EQM-SCB Stained Cosmic Blue Starburst is equipped with the high-quality and indestructible hardware typical of Ibanez instruments.
