FENDER stratocaster ST'71-TX reissue Ash Sunburst from 2003, made in Japan.

ST'71s are much rarer than ST'72s, even in Japan. Copy with the original Fender Vintage USA Texas Special pickups: high output, biting mids, bright highs and dense lows. The pads are staggered to obtain a balanced output level and the enameled winding wires offer a real warm vintage sound.

Note that the previous owner shielded the electronics, and upgraded with a Tone Factory 630VDC condo and Fender locking tuners.

Very pleasant to play, 'big' head and 3-screw CBS-type neck plate.

Perfect tones, excellent tuning stability even when playing with the vibrato.

Excellent general condition, very few signs of life. Frets played in good condition: 6.5/10 (see photos for more details).
