The OX Amp Top Box is a high-end reactive load box/attenuator designed to push tube amplifiers into their sweet spot while keeping the volume under control. Compatible with amplifiers up to 150 watts and 4, 8, and 16-ohm impedances, it offers several attenuation levels down to silent operation, along with highly realistic simulations of speaker cabinets, speakers, microphones, and rooms, allowing you to record directly without miking a cabinet. It also features EQ, compression, delay, and reverb, with advanced settings available through the OX app. A particularly popular studio tool for achieving the sound of a cranked tube amp without having to deal with the corresponding volume level.
