The NEEWER X12B is a foldable 12" teleprompter for video recordings, live streaming, online lessons and presentations. The assembly-free design saves time when setting up: simply unfold it, insert your smartphone or tablet, position the camera, and you’re ready to go. The aluminium alloy construction provides a stable base and can be folded back down compactly after the session.

The coated diffuser glass offers 75 per cent light transmission and reflects the text clearly in front of the camera lens. Scripts can be read from a distance of up to 3 metres, whilst your gaze remains directed straight towards the camera. This is handy for presentations, tutorials, product videos or longer takes where you need to get the text right without having to constantly look away from the camera.

The script can be controlled during recording via the NEEWER Teleprompter app and the included Bluetooth remote control. Playback and pause, scroll speed, page turns and font size can all be adjusted directly. The app supports devices running iOS 11.0 or later and Android 6.0 or later.

The X12B accommodates smartphones and tablets up to a size of 25 × 22 cm for script display and is compatible with, for example, the iPad, iPad Air and iPad Pro 11". The adjustable design makes it easy to align the display, glass and camera so that the lens can be positioned centrally. 1/4" and 3/8" threads allow for mounting in various camera and tripod setups. Cameras require a lens focal length of more than 28 mm. Wide-angle lenses and the iPad Pro 12" are not supported.

After recording, the teleprompter can be folded flat and stowed away in the supplied carry bag. This makes the X12B ideal for changing recording locations, mobile video productions or streaming set-ups that are not permanently installed.
