A pioneer among basses, the P-Bass was released in 1951 but didn't reach its "definitive" form until 1957. Since replaced by the American Professional, the American Standard was the benchmark for the American-made range for thirty years. This particular model features a Custom Shop 60s pickup. The maple neck boasts a 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard and is joined to an alder body. In very good condition, sold with its Fender case.
