Fender Jazzmaster Jim Root Signature model made in USA. This is from the first run of the Jim Root Jazzmaster, you’ll see from the photos it waa made on Valentine’s Day 2014. Looks, plays and sounds phenomenal. Stripped down to basics, as is the Jim Root style, it absolutely roars with fain, but also has a surprising depth and clarity clean. The feel of the neck with compound radius and satin finish is good under the hands. Specs are below. It’s had an incredible mod - the original EMGs were switched by a previous owner to Bareknuckle Ragnaroks with the custom carbon fibre tattoo finish covers, which currently retail for around $800AUD at my local shop, and are completley worth that cash. As they deliver the power of an active pickup with the flexibility and tone of a humbucker - and in this case can also be spilt with a push-pull volume pot. One review said, completely accurately: “The Ragnarok fulfils a seemingly impossible remit - a chunky, fat sounding pickup that’s also devastatingly tight and aggressive; a hot ceramic pickup with a smooth top end and incredible clarity. Even the cleans and low gain tones have a fantastic voice. I didn’t think this could be done!”Simply an incredible guitar for any heavy style of music, that could also be used beyond. Made in USA quality, I think the Mexican ones are well over 3kAU and the USAs are mow towards 4K, so priced accordongly. Great condition - well played but not abused, and black satin finish wearing with play as it was designed to do. Comes with original strap locks and Allen keys in the original black and white tweed case.
