The 7-ply mahogany shells of the Gretsch CC2-J403 Catalina Club Set Satin Antique Fade, with their characteristic 30° shell bevel, offer a harmonious tonal structure with resonant overtones. The dark tonal character of Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by a clear attack and high dynamics, resulting in a balanced, warm sound. The triple-flanged rims on the snare and toms ensure perfect tuning stability and well-defined tones.

The Mini-GTS tom hanger minimises contact with the shell to maximise the freedom of vibration of the mahogany shells. The included tom holder fits perfectly into the stylish ‘Gas Cap’ rosette and provides space for an optional cymbal arm right next to the hanging tom. The Catalina Club Jazz comes factory-fitted with durable Remo Ambassador heads, which ensure a stable, reliable sound right from the start.
