Thomas Synti 1055 - Vintage Synthesizer 1972 ( Moog Satellite )

Vendo bellissimo sintetizzatore monofonico vintage anno 1972 THOMAS SYNTI 1055. 
E' lo sviluppo del famoso Moog Satellite, stesso identico circuito interno ma con un'estensione della tastiera e preset selezionabili nel pannello di sinistra. 
La pulsantiera dei suoni è stata spostata nella sezione superiore anzichè sottostante come lo era nel Moog.Stesso identico suono, filtro ed inviluppo. 
E' possibile modulare il vibrato ed il pitch con appositi pulsanti e regolare profondità e velocità.
Il sintetizzatore, come è possibile vedere le foto, è in condizioni eccellenti, nessun difetto estetico e funzionale.
Pulsanti, slider, potenziometri, tasti ed interruttori sono tutti funzionanti al 100%.Unica nota, è da indicare che i due switch del preset LUNAR e BELL sono stati riparati, in quanto le plastiche interne hanno ceduto e sono stati ricostruiti. Avrei preferito comprarli nuovi, ma al momento non ho trovato un ricambio originale e per il momento preferisco mantenere la sua estetica originale anzichè inserire altri switch differenti. Sono comunque funzionanti in maniera impeccabile.
Suono bellissimo, caldo ed avvolgente come erano le macchine costruite in quegli anni.

Per la l'imballo e la spedizione preparerò il pacco con tutte le dovute accortezze utilizzando un doppio contenitore. Il synth verrà avvolto con materiale pluriball e morbido in modo da garantire la totale protezione durante il viaggio, sia per i tasti che del pannello frontale.

l Thomas Synti 1055 è un sintetizzatore analogico monofonico prodotto negli anni ’70 dalla Thomas Organ Company, che nel 1973 acquisì i diritti per la produzione del Moog Satellite, uno dei primi sintetizzatori realizzati dalla storica casa americana. Il progetto originale venne esteso e migliorato dagli ingegneri della Thomas, che riuscirono a creare uno strumento più comodo e semplice da utilizzare dal vivo, mantenendo però lo stesso carattere e la stessa profondità sonora del suo predecessore. Il cuore completamente analogico di questo strumento era costituito da un singolo oscillatore a rilassamento, in grado di generare un’unica onda a dente di sega (o quadra), che poi veniva filtrata e trattata dai vari circuiti a valle per modellare il suo contenuto armonico e il suo inviluppo. È evidente che con queste tecniche non fosse possibile ottenere suoni “realistici” nel senso moderno del termine, ma riuscivano comunque a creare timbri unici, ancora oggi molto interessanti, che hanno ispirato gran parte della musica dell’epoca.

I'm selling a beautiful vintage 1972 THOMAS SYNTI 1055 monophonic synthesizer.It's a development of the famous Moog Satellite, featuring the exact same internal circuitry but with a keyboard extension and presets selectable from the left panel.The sound button panel has been moved to the top section instead of underneath it, as it was on the Moog.The exact same sound, filter, and envelope.Vibrato and pitch can be modulated with dedicated buttons, and depth and speed can be adjusted.The synthesizer, as you can see in the photos, is in excellent condition, with no cosmetic or functional defects.Buttons, sliders, potentiometers, keys, and switches are all 100% functional.The only note is that the two preset switches, LUNAR and BELL, have been repaired, as the internal plastics cracked and were rebuilt. I would have preferred to buy them new, but I haven't found an original replacement yet, and for now I'd prefer to keep the original aesthetics rather than add different switches. They still work flawlessly.The sound is beautiful, warm, and enveloping, just like the machines built in those years.For any information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

The Thomas Synti 1055 is a monophonic analog synthesizer produced in the 1970s by the Thomas Organ Company, which in 1973 acquired the rights to produce the Moog Satellite, one of the first synthesizers made by the historic American company.The original design was extended and improved by Thomas engineers, who managed to create an instrument that was more comfortable and simple to use live, while maintaining the same character and sonic depth as its predecessor.The completely analog heart of this instrument consisted of a single relaxation oscillator, capable of generating a single sawtooth (or square) wave, which was then filtered and processed by various downstream circuits to shape its harmonic content and envelope. It's clear that these techniques couldn't achieve "realistic" sounds in the modern sense of the word, but they still managed to create unique timbres, still very interesting today, which inspired much of the music of the time.

For packaging and shipping, I will prepare the package with all due care, using a double container.
The synth will be wrapped in bubble wrap and soft material to ensure complete protection during transport, both for the keys and the front panel.
