This model has been equipped with original features that were typical of the Stratocaster, which first appeared in the 1950s, and realize the iconic Strat sound. Two-piece body made from selected alder and one-piece 4A neck made from flamed maple

With a two-piece body made of selected alder and a one-piece neck made of flamed maple in 4A quality, high-quality tonewoods have been used that enable outstanding playability and robust handling. The grain of the one-piece neck/fretboard made of flamed maple is skillfully accentuated by the nitrocellulose lacquer finish and stands out as a beautiful detail. The model has a 10/56 "V" neck profile which, in combination with the modern 9.5" fingerboard radius, creates a pure vintage feel and is also tailored to the comfort of modern guitarists. The gold-finish hardware blends in perfectly with the elegant Aged Bright Sapphire Metallic finish, while the Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized Tremolo is available for artistic vibrato applications. The 70th Anniversary Stratocaster is rounded off by vintage-style tuners with the "Fender" logo and the classic neck plate with the Fender Anniversary logo.

Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '50s Strat single coils and treble-bleed circuit

Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '50s Strat single coils are available for the true Vintage-Sound, which convey the legendary Stratocaster sound that has been firmly anchored in the music world since the 1950s. With crisp mids and crystal-clear highs, with a vocal character, defined cleans and warm Drive can be used optimally for demanding riffs and licks. Another highlight of the Stratocaster is the treble bleed circuit, which guarantees that the treble is retained when the volume control is turned down.
