50 watts of power from two EL34 valves

The JVM205C combo is built using a classic all-valve design and features a preamp with four ECC83 valves and an additional ECC83 phase splitter to provide more than sufficient gain reserves for the hotter high-gain sounds of the OD channels. In the power amp section, meanwhile, two EL34 pentodes provide a power reserve of up to 50 watts, ensuring you can easily handle rehearsals and gigs.

2 channels, each with 3 gain modes

The Marshall JVM205C combo’s enormous flexibility stems from its two independent channels, each offering three switchable gain modes. From clear and transparent sounds on the clean channel, through the rich crunch of blues and rock, right up to the steamy high-gain sound for metalheads, this powerhouse of a combo is up for absolutely anything. For further sound shaping, each individual channel features an independent 3-band equaliser, making the range of possible sounds seem virtually endless.

Celestion Heritage G12H & Celestion Vintage Speakers

Wiedergabe s the powerful JVM sound with two speakers designed by the British Hersteller Celestion. Both the Celestion Heritage G12H and the Celestion Vintage Speaker feature a 12-inch cone for powerful low-frequency response and, with their blended tonal characteristics, produce a rich, full-bodied sound that remains clear and well-defined both in the rehearsal room and on stage. Recording enthusiasts in particular will be delighted when miking the Marshall JVM205C combo, thanks to its wide range of ‘sweet spots’.

Connection options for effects, recording and MIDI

The JCM205C’s extensive range of connection options for rehearsal rooms, studios and live performances proves that it can easily hold its own in absolutely any setting. The rear panel features not only connections for speaker cabinets with an impedance of 4, 8 or 16 ohms, but also two usable effects loops. These allow effects pedals to be inserted between the preamp and power amp, which really brings out the best in delay and modulation effects in particular. Darüber hinaus, all the JCM205C’s controls can be operated via MIDI, whilst the emulated line Out in XLR format also enables silent recording.
