Comfortable playing characteristicsIn addition to the okoumé body with applied curly maple top, the AR420 Doublecut electric guitar features a three-piece maple neck whose rounded AR profile provides the right amount of wood behind the fretboard for confident chord playing and clean leads.
Two Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers are true classics on the tonal side. Thanks to separate Tri-Sound switches, they produce an extremely versatile sound and feel right at home in a wide range of genres from clean jazz to hot hard rock. In addition to the powerful series connection of the humbucker coils, parallel operation with open tones and the split for brilliant single-coil sounds are available.
