With the Ortega R121 3/4 WR children’s guitar, the manufacturer presents another addition to its popular Family beginners’ series, which, thanks to its shorter dimensions, is perfectly suited to children aged between 9 and 12. The 3/4-size classical guitar features a flat mahogany neck, a walnut fingerboard and six nylon strings, which, thanks to a short scale length of 590 mm and a narrow nut width of 45 mm, are very easy and comfortable to play across all 18 frets. A laminated spruce top and a mahogany body produce, despite the instrument’s compact design, an astonishingly rich and warm tone, which is particularly pronounced in the mid and high frequencies and is delivered quickly and dynamically thanks to a thin finish. A key quality feature is the chrome-plated tuning machines, which ensure straightforward and precise tuning and, thanks to their smooth-turning knobs, are easy to operate even for beginners.
