The Ahead 5A Drum Sticks is a set of aluminium drum sticks, featuring a length of 406mm, with a nylon head, and medium taper. The 5A are a bestselling set of drumsticks that are lightweight and fast. Great for all musical styles, these sticks feature 50% less shock than wood drumsticks and last 6 to 10 times longer than wood drumsticks.
Offering 5% more rebound than wood drumsticks, a high precision alloy core guarantees consistent weight and balance variations of less that 1%. Replaceable covers, tips and rings are available, and a high quality, unbreakable nylon tip provides a brighter, more articulate sound. Super-hard polyurethane replaceable covers protect your drumsticks and your gear. These sticks are completed with ergonomically tuned handles and a built-in Vibration Control System.
