With the Hagstrom Viking Bass Wild Cherry Transparent, the Swedish cult company presents a semi-acoustic 4-string bass, whose powerful vintage sound gives any blues, beat or alternative band the right rhythm foundation. The laminated maple body with a solid centre block promises a woody resonance in the sound, while the glued maple neck with short scale scale and slim profile ensures unhindered playability. Two Hagstrom Dual Rail Humbuckers on the amplifier, whose coils can be called up in different combinations via the 6-way Rotary Switch, deliver a particularly versatile sound. Last but not least, the Hagstrom Viking Bass has a Tune-O-Matic bridge with trapezoid tailpiece and precise die-cast tuners.
