Drumdots are CLEAR polymer over-ring drum dampers made of proprietary material known as V-Tem, developed just for drumdots.

Their Story... They designed drumdots to not only reduce the over-ring, but to do it without taking the "Life" out of your drums. Being musicians themselves, with backgrounds in product design engineering, and material science they set out to develop a product that addressed all of the issues they experienced with other drum dampers. After listening to many drummers, drum techs, and recording engineers, and after several years of testing and analysis both live and in the lab, they created drumdots.

How Do They WORK? It's a combination of the V-Tem Polymer, the round shape, the beveled edge design, and the manufacturing process. Drumdots don't stop the drumhead from vibrating (like other products), they simply disrupt the formation of the vibration from the center of the strike zone to the rim. The closer you place the drumdot to the center of the strike zone, the more over-ring will be eliminated.
