This RCA BA-25A tube limiter has been professionally racked with a gain reduction meter, as well as stepped release settings and output levels. It has so much gain that I had the tech who did this add a -40dB pad so it could be used as an insert without issue. With the pad out, you can plug a condenser mic straight into it, no pre needed. It sounds fantastic. I've recorded acoustic guitar with just this and a U67. I've also used it on a mono drum room (with the pad). Please contact me with any questions.
