Reverend Kingbolt F-Sonic in Metallic Cherry

The Kingbolt F-Sonic picks up the baton where the original Airsonic left off, refining the concept and combining the best attributes of the original RA and W models into one new model. Two Railhammer pickups are still fitted, but the F-Sonic includes both a Hyper Vintage humbucker in the bridge and a Nuevo 90 humcutter in the neck, for a much broader range of tonal options compared to either the Airsonic RA or W. The body has been refined too, with slightly thicker wings allowing the jack socket to be placed on the side of the body, and a belly cut increasing playing comfort. Reverend’s iconic Shooting Star F-Holes are unchanged, and are complemented by new “Kingbolt” branding on the headstock for a uniquely Reverend look.

The Kingbolt F-Sonic comes with the outstanding Wilkinson WVS50IIK tremolo as standard. Blending rock solid stability with a wide range of ultra-smooth motion, the WVS50IIK is both unobtrusive when not in use, and a joy to use when it is. No wonder it’s Reverend’s trem system of choice. Also fitted is Reverend’s unique Bass Contour control. As if the two Railhammer pickups weren’t versatile enough, allowing you to switch between searing heat and mellow cool in an instant via the 3-way switch, Bass Contour adds a whole new level of adaptability. Rolling it off cuts the bass frequencies without affecting the trebles, making the humbucker and humcutter sound much more like traditional single-coils. Dial in as little or as much as you want at any point in your set - infinitely variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!

As with all Reverend guitars, the Kingbolt F-Sonic is built with premium components throughout, including those you can’t see. It uses more consistent ±10% tolerance pots and capacitors (rather than the ±20% parts found on most guitars), and a Pure Tone output jack with dual contacts for a firmer connection, better signal transfer, and improved reliability. A treble bleed circuit maintains clarity when rolling back the volume, while the boneite nut minimises friction, helping the strings glide smoothly through the nut slots for enhanced tuning stability.
