The Black Winter from Seymour Duncan is a bridge humbucker designed specifically for crushing black and death metal. The pickup offers a dark and vicious tone with plenty of grime and aggression. The ceramic magnets ensure maximum output and sustain in all high-gain applications. The custom-wound coils deliver clear mids and treble with focused and controlled low end.
Designed to handle any tuning, the Black Winter's voicing allows for aggressive palm mutes, fluid tremolo picking, and searing lead tones. The pickup utilizes three large ceramic magnets, a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax-potted for squeal-free operation.
The Black Winter is handmade in Santa Barbara, CA.
