For sale is this 1991 Martin OM-21 Special, built for John Pearse.
An absolute gorgeous and featherweight OM-model, built by Martin for British artist, guitar teacher and entrepreneur John Pearse. Pearse played this guitar extensively and I can see why. It's a featherweight guitar, made from the best woods available to Martin. The back and sides are dark & straight grained rosewood, with a top made from Sitka. The bridge & fretboard is ebony. The guitar carries an under saddle pickup that sounds decent. The guitar varies from the Standard OM 21s from the era. It features real abalone snowflake inlays, a bound headstock and pearl Martin tuners.
The guitar is set up to 11's. Of course we used a set of John Pearse's own strings ;)
It's delivered including his signature armrest & the original Martin case, as well as the needed provenance of his ownership.
