1969 Fender Mustang Competition – Red
We present an all original 1969 Fender Mustang Competition in its original Red finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall, this ’69 Mustang is in excellent condition, showing only minor nicks, dings, and cosmetic wear. The pearl white pickguard remains intact. The original frets and nut show minimal wear and have plenty of life left.
Originality
This early ’69 Mustang Competition is 100% original throughout, just as it left the Fullerton factory in 1969. Both original pickups sound fantastic — clear, well-balanced, and dynamic. The set of six original kluson tuners operate smoothly and still retain their original tuner buttons. Comes with the original tremolo arm and bridge cover.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order. The leather strap inside the case has been replaced.

Photo Documentation of Originality
Each of our vintage instruments comes with a professionally prepared documentation package stored on a USB drive. This includes high-resolution internal and external photos, showcasing every detail of the instrument. The serial number is also noted on the USB drive. This serves as your proof of originality and offers transparent, reliable verification of authenticity — providing peace of mind when investing in a piece of guitar history.
Please note: The photos document exactly how the instrument looked — inside and out — on the day of purchase. Any modifications made after the sale will void both the warranty and the originality verification.
