Here I'm selling this awesome Sarno V8 Octal Tube preamp. It has 2 6sl7(octal tube) gain stages, which result in a very big sound with some nice dimension and light harmonic color. 2 bands of Baxandall eq. Unique midrange when compared to noval tube pres. Can be used both on bass for big fat tones or on guitar for Jerry Garcia-adjacent cleans. I used it on bass for years.
Has the variable impedance knob mod where you can regulate the input impedance on the side for a variety of tones. Maximum inout impedance on this unit is 10M Ohm so you can even use it with piezo pickups without issue!
The unit has both a transformer balanced DI output and an unbalanced output which can run into pedals or a power amp. Both can be used simultaneously.
