The Big Muff Pi has undergone many minor changes and variations, but this is the third version. This design is also used in current models, and many people think of this look first when they think of the Big Muff.

This is a modest yet rare version, with the lines above and below the "BIG MUFF Î " logo in black instead of the usual red. The control knobs are chicken knobs. The board is the same ivory color as the EH3003, with a discrete circuit specification. The slide switch on the back turns the power on and off, and is labeled "AC OFF/ON."
