Hammond Tone Cab Controller

for models DR-20, JR-20, HR-40, PR-40 and other vintage Hammond speaker cabinets

This controller/adapter has a 5 pin output that goes to the standard Hammond Tone Cab 5 pin to 6 pin cable, and plugs into the vintage Hammond tone cabinets. IT provides power and a 1/4 inch jack for TRS balanced input. If you use a vintage Hammond instrument the level should be hot enough, but if you are using an non-Hammond instrument or a modern keyboard or guitar, you'll need a preamp. I recommend the ART tube MP they have lots of gain, take a balanced or unbalanced input and output and usually cost about $40 new on Reverb.

This is for the Hammond Tone Cab, it's not a Leslie Controller, although it looks like one.

Feel free to ask questions through the Reverb system, but please be sure all messages start with telling me exactly which cabinet you are using or hope to use, and what you intend to plug into it (what instrument), but read on and your questions may be answered.

Why Fishsticks?!?

Um... There are a few reasons. I had a 1984 Mercedes diesel that I converted to run on waste veggie oil, that kinds smells like fishsticks, so I first named that Dr. Fishsticks. I wanted to choose a name for these controllers that would let you know that I'm not one of those way to uptight, grumpy, Hammond organ guys, that I am a guy in my converted garage workshop making this stuff for you. I don't have a clear coat on my online presence pretending to be a big operation, I'm a one-man operation, and proud of it. I am a piano technician, a tube amp and Hammond/Leslie repair man, and a player, and have been for over 15 years.   Also, I like fish sticks.
