Electro-Harmonix Pico Swello is a compact Attack Envelope / Auto-Swell pedal (Pico format). Inspired by the ATTACK slider on the famous POG2, it is designed to soften or remove the initial attack of your notes, creating swell effects, ambient pads, cello/string sounds, and reverse effects.

General Description

• Polyphonic Operation: Unlike older swell pedals that required sensitivity adjustments or a strict picking style, the Swello cleanly detects and tracks notes polyphonically without needing a Sensitivity control.
• Tonal Versatility: At subtle settings, it smooths out note transitions even during fast arpeggios. More extreme settings generate massive synthetic pads and bowed instrument effects.
• Integrated Low-Pass Filter: Features an adjustable low-pass filter modulated by the attack envelope, capable of generating Auto-Wah and Envelope Filter effects.

Controls & Features

• VOL (Volume): Controls the overall output level.
• ATTACK: Controls the attack envelope time. Turning clockwise makes the swell slower (from an almost imperceptible attack to long swells/reverse effects).
• FREQ: Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter when active.
• MOD: Controls the amount and direction of filter modulation:
• Center position (12 o'clock): Modulation is off.
• Clockwise: Upward filter sweep.
• Counter-clockwise: Downward filter sweep.
• FILTER Button (with LED indicator): Toggles the low-pass filter on/off and selects resonance:
• Green: Filter off (pure Auto-Swell).
• Orange: Filter on with Low Resonance.
• Red: Filter on with High Resonance.
