Limited Full complete set Audix SCX-1 MINT

Audix SCX-1 Microphone with Three Interchangeable Capsules — Excellent Condition

The Audix SCX-1 is in excellent technical and cosmetic condition and has been carefully maintained.

This particular configuration was not commonly available through standard retail channels. Sets like this were supplied by special order, primarily for larger professional recording studios and demanding studio applications.

The main advantage of this set is its exceptional versatility. With three interchangeable capsules, the SCX-1 can be easily adapted to a wide range of recording situations, from isolated sources and vocals to acoustic instruments and room recording.

Included:

• Audix SCX-1 microphone
• SCX1-HC hypercardioid capsule — ideal for isolating a sound source, particularly in untreated or acoustically challenging rooms.
• SCX1-C cardioid capsule — a versatile choice for a wide range of close-miking applications.
• SCX1-O omnidirectional (Omni) capsule — excellent for close recording of acoustic and classical guitars. This is the capsule I personally use for this purpose.
• Original microphone stand holder

A rare and highly versatile professional microphone set, offering three distinct polar patterns in one compact system.
