1966 Fender Vibro Champ – Clean Original Vintage Blackface Amp

Everyone needs a Champ — and this is a beautiful vintage 1966 Fender Vibro Champ.

This is a very clean and original blackface Vibro Champ with excellent tolex and a great overall presentation. The speaker is in perfect condition, and the amp runs quietly. No capacitors, resistors or transformers have been changed, preserving the originality, tone and character of the amplifier.

A 3-prong power plug has been added for safer practical use. There is only a very small snag on the lower right side of the grille cloth, mentioned for full transparency. Some of the black paint on the Fender logo has also flaked off slightly.

Most importantly, this little amp sounds fantastic. It delivers the classic blackface Champ tone: warm, dynamic, touch-sensitive and full of charm, with beautiful tube tremolo and natural breakup when pushed. Perfect for home, studio, recording and anyone who wants real vintage Fender tone at manageable volume.
