Why it's special:
The ASAT Classic is Leo Fender's refinement of the bolt-on single-cutaway formula he pioneered decades earlier — it's got that familiar twang and snap, but with MFD pickups that deliver more clarity, output, and low-end punch than a standard single-coil. G&Ls from this era were made in genuinely small numbers compared to Fender's mass production, and the fit, finish, and attention to detail reflect that. This one plays effortlessly and is a great alternative for players who want Tele tone with a bit more muscle.
