Magnificent MELODY 6000 guitar, high-end model – inspired by the Gibson SG, solid mahogany, just like the original SGs.
Made in Italy in the late 1960s/early 1970s (between 1967 and 1972), this rare instrument combines vintage character with very high quality;
In my opinion, MELODY is the best Italian brand (except Wandre). All their instruments are solid, well-built, and offer a very good vintage sound.
The sound is vintage, dynamic, and close to that of an original period SG.
Main features:
100% solid mahogany body
Mahogany neck with center bar and integrated truss rod
Vintage humbucker pickups: warm, powerful, and typically 60s/70s rock tone
Wave tremolo with a modified arm (not original)
Original tuners
The guitar shows some signs of wear and minor dings, giving it a "relic" look (desired for this type of guitar). The neck is straight, the frets are in good condition, as are the electronics and pickups. No additional work is required.
A versatile collector's instrument, ideal for rock, blues, and any style requiring a warm and vibrant sound.
The instrument shows some normal signs of wear for its age but remains in very good overall condition and is particularly well preserved.
