There are few electric guitars that can be said to be as classic or legendary as the Les Paul model from the American manufacturer Gibson. The 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS Iced Tea Burst is a historically authentic "reissue" model from the Gibson Custom Shop, which returns to the design from 1959.

The solid mahogany body is decorated with a two-piece figured maple top and a Washed Cherry Sunburst color. The special VOS (Vintage Original Specs) finish gives the guitar an authentic look and feel of the originals. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets (Historic Medium-Jumbo) is glued to the mahogany neck. Position blocks (Cellulose Nitrate Trapezoid) facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.

The sound of the instrument is provided by two Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers. Two volume potentiometers, two tone shutters and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Kluson Single Line tuners and through the ABR-1 bridge in the tailpiece. The period authenticity is underlined by all the materials/components used and their workmanship.
